The Mission

I think this is one of the coolest places I have found since being in Shreveport.  This is the homeless mission I serve lunch at each week.  Today was my day, it is always so humbling to go there as it makes you realize these people are just like you and I.  In an instant the situation could be reversed and each one of us could find ourselves here. 

Psalms 22:26 The poor shall eat and be satisfied;  Those who seek Him will praise the Lord.

The purpose of the Mission is to pursue the passion of Jesus Christ to lift up the hungry, homeless, abused, and addicted.  They can come for a meal, a day or join the program and get their life back on track.  Everything about the Mission is based in a love of God.
